Orthographic Word Mapping Centers with Spinners – CVC Words

In order to become efficient readers and spellers, students must be able to hear the sounds in a word, segment those sounds, and blend them. This center covers all of those skills in one easy to set up activity! How to Use This Resource: I created this resource to be used with my mapping mats as a literacy center, but you can use this however you see fit! Centers: Student spins the spinner, says the word, segments the sounds, counts the sounds, and then spells each sound. To learn more about phoneme-grapheme mapping, click here!
