Pull a book off the shelf. Each one opens that skill in the library.
Science of Reading resources are everywhere now. So few of them are actually vetted.
01
Vetted, not viral
Research first, ease of use second, so you never have to fact-check us on top of everything else.
02
Built in the classroom, not the lab
Made by a teacher who made the switch herself, and tested at the small-group table before it reaches yours.
03
Generous, never guilt-driven
We all taught the way we were taught. No scoring points off balanced literacy. Just better tools.

Our mission
We translate the Science of Reading into step-by-step tools teachers can use tomorrow morning, so no child’s literacy depends on guesswork.
The why. Reading shouldn’t be left to chance. The research exists; it just needs to reach the classroom.
The rule. Every resource has to pass one test: would a tired teacher on a Tuesday actually use this?
The numbers. Over 60% of fourth graders read below proficient. With the science, about 95% of kids can learn to read.
Real notes, real classrooms

I love the variety!
These resources have been a lifesaver with my very beginning readers! They need to understand the code in order to move forward. And, I love the variety: great for small group, station work, seat work, and to take home!

A quick definition
What we mean by “Science of Reading”
Instruction grounded in the converging research on how the brain learns to read: phonemic awareness, systematic phonics, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension, checked against peer-reviewed studies, not just what’s trending in a Facebook group.
Some areas, like exact sequencing, are still being researched. When something is still developing, we say so on the resource page instead of pretending it’s settled.
