Letter Sound Skills – Phonemic Awareness & Phonics

I created this resource as a fun way to practice letter sound skills! Knowing how sound are spelled is essential for kids to be successful readers and writers! This activity focuses specifically on isolating beginning sounds by looking at the picture. After they identify the beginning sound, they should find and color the letter (or letters) that spell that sound. I have included letters that look like the target letter as well to help with letter identification. I have also included uppercase and lowercase letters.
